Reggie Lee, who stars as Sgt. Wu on NBC’s hit show Grimm, stopped by the KINK Give Hope Radiothon benefiting Portland Rescue Mission on November 13, 2012. Reggie chatted with Brian Merrell from Portland Rescue Mission about the fundraising event and while he was there, he personally sampled one of the event’s donation incentives – Thanksgiving flavored ice cream from local favorite Salt & Straw Ice Cream!
Grimm is filmed right here in our home town of Portland, Oregon. It’s been fun to see how a little bit of Hollywood can go a long way in our city. From friends and neighbors being cast as extras, to moments like these where an actor can help make a difference in very real way – not only by donating personally (Reggie donated 106 meals!), but also by helping elevate awareness that the need to help feed and care for homeless men, women and children in our community is very real.
