Edge client Legend Homes has a mission to be the leader in building energy efficient, sustainable and affordable homes, and they certainly live up to their goal! Having been established in the Portland area since 1965, they have asserted themselves as a superior, award-winning builder featuring qualities that consumers are looking for in a home – cost and energy efficiency, flowing design plans, and reliable building practices.
The challenge arises when trying to separate themselves from their competition in the eyes of their consumer. Legend Homes was looking for an opportunity to build quality content on their website, clearly defining exactly how they stand out amongst the throngs of home-builders in the area. Not only could this content describe their mission and what they stand for, but it could also be used as a platform to drive their advertising efforts. The answer came quickly – why not show them instead of tell them?
The Edge video production team packed up their equipment and headed out to the Legend Homes’ local, Portland-area communities. Twelve main points of interest were established that truly make Legend Homes stand out and exemplify excellence in their building process and finished product. When completed, the 12-part video series, compiled and edited by Edge, walks the viewer through Legend’s homes and gives a glimpse of the quality and energy efficiency that lies “Behind Our Walls” in their communities.
