International Air and Hospitality Academy recently reached out to us to help make a new website for one of their growing training programs, Hotel, Restaurant and Event Management (HREM). HREM was previously sharing a website with it’s sister program the International Air and Hospitality Academy (IAHA). Since IAHA is primarily focused on the airline industry and HREM’s training program focuses on hospitality it became apparent to both us and our client that this growing program needed its own space and quick!

KOIN’s Meal to Remember Event Benefits Client Portland Rescue Mission

October 18th was a busy day at Portland Rescue Mission’s Burnside Shelter. KOIN Local 6 hosted their fifth annual Meal to Remember, feeding 439 Portland Rescue Mission guests. In addition to providing a beautiful meal, thanks to generous sponsors Sysco, Portland Prime, Country Natural, Beaverton Bakery, Pastini and Black Rock Coffee, KOIN promoted a seven-hour clothing drive, raising over 3,900 pounds of much needed donations to help keep homeless people in our community warm during the cold months to come.

Nearly half of Americans now own a smart phone or tablet and depend on it throughout their day, making this rapidly growing technology more of a necessity than a luxury. With the growth in this industry, consumers are able to respond to a television advertiser’s call to action much more quickly than in recent history. With a smart phone or tablet at their fingertips, there is hardly any hesitation in consumers who are responding to ads within 10 minutes or less. According to Nielsen, 68% of tablet users, and 63% of smart phone users said they use their mobile device several times a week or more while watching TV.
