New Website, Tight Deadline? No Problem.

When a company experiences rapid growth and needs a new web environment on a quick turn around…Edge delivers the goods.

International Air and Hospitality Academy recently reached out to us to help make a new website for one of their growing training programs, Hotel, Restaurant and Event Management (HREM). HREM was previously sharing a website with it’s sister program the International Air and Hospitality Academy (IAHA). Since IAHA is primarily focused on the airline industry and HREM’s training program focuses on hospitality it became apparent to both us and our client that this growing program needed its own space and quick!

Layered 2D Printing Adds Another Dimension To Client Collateral

Everyone can push the “Print” button on the computer, and have a sign pop out. But when you add depth to your printed piece, you’re creating a unique piece that invites interaction. The layered print isn’t just read by the viewer, but it is experienced as well. A layered 2D piece, transforms the flat print into a sculpture that people can touch and feel – creating a more lasting impression.

Edge Interior Design Services Adds Its Touch To New Share Facility

Ever wonder what goes into building fancy displays at showrooms or offices? Well, we can tell you! It involves a lot of care, sweat, coffee, finishing nails, coffee and a little bit of blood — at least in our case, anyway.

Over the past few years Edge Multimedia’s interior design services team has been tapped to create quite a few unique displays, and we’ve just completed one for our client, Share Vancouver. Share recently moved into its new Share Fromhold Service Center facility, and they wanted to do something special to recognize the donors who made the dream of a new service center a reality, as well as show how far their reach extends to help those suffering from hunger and homelessness in the greater Vancouver area.

Mar 22: Share Vancouver’s New Share-Fromhold Service Center Open House

One of our newest clients, Share Vancouver, just moved into its new building and opened the Share-Fromhold Service Center. Over three years in the making, the once bowling alley is now headquarters of a bustling administrative and volunteer staff and programs that greatly benefit the City of Vancouver.

In honor of this momentous occasion, Share is hosting an open house Friday, March 22, 2013 to officially open the service center to the community. The open house will take place from 1:30 to 4:00 at 2306 NE Andresen Road, Vancouver, WA 98661.

Edge Non-Profit Client Share Vancouver Raises Over $164,500 at 2013 Gala

For over 30 years, Share Vancouver has been caring for the homeless and hungry in the Vancouver area.

Share’s annual 2013 Casino Royale Gala raised over $164,500 through a silent and live auction, special appeal and raffle. These funds will support Share’s shelter and outreach programs.

Edge Client NW-REI Fills Classes with Targeted Digital Marketing

Our challenge was to help trade school client NW Renewable Energy Institute (NW-REI) fill their monthly class starts – reaching the right group of people with the opportunity to become a wind turbine technician – and doing that over and over to get each class at capacity.

One of the goals of our digital marketing campaign was to increase informational seminar attendance. Each month, NW-REI holds about three informational seminars on campus to introduce the 6-month Wind program and share more about what it takes to become a wind turbine technician. Once potential students know more about the program and the potential of the career path, enrollment increases.

Portland Rescue Mission Events A Huge Success

I don’t know about you, but whenever I see a red phone I think of the White House and the “hotline” developed after the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1963. This year, however, red phones take on a new meaning as I witnessed dozens of people call in to donate to Portland Rescue Mission during our yearly fundraising events.

Thank You Edge Clients, Old and New, For Another Great Year

At the end of 2012, it’s important to take a moment and take stock of all that a year such as this has brought and taken away. Perhaps even to lament the hasty closing of your favorite Mayan restaurant, and to wonder if, when it reopens, it will just be another Thai place. But then your thoughts shift to all that the year has brought. For us here at Edge, we know that we would not be who we are without our amazing Edge clients. That’s why this Portland advertising agency never gets tired of getting the word out about them!

Elmer’s Spreads Holiday Cheer

This November, Edge client Elmer’s Restaurants succeeded in spreading holiday cheer by reaching out to their local communities and supporting families, children and homeless people who are hurting and hungry. Elmer’s implemented fundraising programs within their restaurants that encouraged diners to donate and help those in need, whether it was donating a meal to a homeless shelter, or purchasing a symbolic paper sparrow to benefit hurting families. Elmer’s positively affected these communities this holiday season:

Custom Promotions and Cross-Partnership Benefits Clients and Community

Last year around this time, a beautiful relationship was born between two valued Edge clients: Elmer’s Restaurants and Portland Rescue Mission. The Dine Away Hunger promotion had its inaugural year, in which patrons to any Portland-area Elmer’s restaurant could donate a meal or two to Portland Rescue Mission on the check at the end of their own meal. The partnership was facilitated by Portland ad agency Edge Multimedia and supported by a television ad campaign on Comcast Spotlight, social media promotion and press releases.
